First (?) really negative review of T:V

there are only four out of the eight weapons which I'd choose to use in a multiplayer game: the explosive disc shooter, the shotgun, and the sniper rifle. The rocket pod is mildly strong, but is only suited for use against vehicles—using it against anything else is simply impractical. The mortar is a nice weapon when you want to launch a siege against an enemy base, or dropping a nice little present for an unsuspecting friend in a lower area; however, this weapon is only usable by heavy armor, in which case light/medium armors have to resort to the grenade launcher, which is infinitely worse.

Sadly most of his arguments are techie whining that shazbot glows and water looks prittier in HL2.

He hardly covers gameplay at all cept for single player bashing, although I do agree that AI is dumb if it behaves the way he described.

Maybe he should have written engine review instead of a game review.

I feel somewhat the same as he does. It doesn't fulfill my expectations for it. If anything, I just want something harder and more challenging. They've dumbed down a lot of Tribes.

Actually I just pubbed with you and you were one of the worst HO I've seen. It was 4vs8 and you still managed you stumble around in heavy armor, worthless. That's pretty bad when I haven't even played the game in about a month. :X

Only map I play HO on is Emerald, which isnt hard to rack up the kills.



I play HOF and when I am in the zone I get preety effing good. Im well rounded, practice everyday but man when Im hot im hot. So dont give me this dumbed down bullshazbot, I was playing utopia today, HOF, disced a incoming capper he flew out, speed boosted I was like "shazbot, not gonna let him go" so I activated my speed pack and lobbed 2 mortars about half way across the map. Nailed him with the first one and killed him.



I get shots like that all the time, this shazbot aint luck it requires "skill" I dont see everyone constantly making those shots. So step off , effing noob.

I don't care if it was or wasn't you. The game is newbied and you wouldn't be a struggle. Sorry.

OK and here's my positive feedback. Maybe if the game was 2x faster or something and you actually had to aim. Or maybe if the grapple speed wasn't lightning compared to an epack boost. Hmm. No. It's made by newbies, it's played by newbies, it will stay newbie.

How would you have any idea if it is "newbied" if you dont even dedicate anytime to playing it? Way to support your own arguement smart guy. Play in a match, or maybe a scrimmage, or against people who are half way decent before you declare how 'newbied' this game is.



It's easier to pick up, and just as hard to master. So what now cuz people know to fly and lead you are having a hard time ? Pfft, grow some god damn balls and step up your game a notch. Your own arguement works against you , come back when your ready to prove something substantial.
