I played SP a bit in the last few days and I found that there is a bug with the subtitels.
Sometimes they get stuck with the last one and all the next spoken lines are not updated in the hud.
All I can do is close and restart the game.
I guess it is happens when:
I die while a person talks and the subtitel is updated. When I reload my last save the LASt subtitle is shown but the next don't upadte the hud.
This is verry irritating!
I hope I could mak clear what the problem is, but I have no better way to discribe it.
