Q: Is it possible to replace a default skin (ex: blood eagle light male) with a skin of your choice permanently? I don't want to manually switch skins every single time.
Skin questionAnimal 10-17-2004, 02:40 AM Q: Is it possible to replace a default skin (ex: blood eagle light male) with a skin of your choice permanently? When you spawn it should spawn you with your last used medium armor skin. So if you had selected an inventory favorite with the Seti Blood Eagle skin, then died you should spawn with it. At least this is what it does for me. Animal 10-17-2004, 02:50 AM Nah, doesn't work for me. Something I should edit to make it stay the same or what? Try doing it with the alternate BE female skin and let me know if it works for you. aCynicalPie 10-17-2004, 03:00 AM donno Only thing I can guess is that I still have these lines in my User.ini carried over from Beta 05: skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'MediumArmour.Im perialMedium',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'LightArmour.Imp erialLight',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'MediumArmour.Ph oenixMedium',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'LightArmour.Pho enixLight',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'HeavyArmour.Pho enixHeavy',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'MediumArmour.Bl oodEagleMedium',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'LightArmour.Blo odEagleLight',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'HeavyArmour.Blo odEagleHeavy',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'HeavyArmour.Imp erialHeavy',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'MediumArmour.Im perialMediumFem',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'MediumArmour.Bl oodEagleMediumFem',Skin="") skinPreferences=(Mesh=Ske letalMesh'LightArmour.Blo odEagleLightFem',Skin="") But I really doubt that those matter now. edit: put it in code tags 'cause the forum code messed it up edit2: k wtf over. it's putting these two spaces in ... take those out if you put it in your User.ini Animal 10-17-2004, 03:14 AM cool I'll give it a try thanks... you add the skin you want in the quotes right? aCynicalPie 10-17-2004, 03:20 AM Mine are all blank, so I really don't know. When I saw those lines originally, the light female had info in for the Ninja, but I don't remember the exact line, and apparently it isn't in my backups from back then. Like I said, I doubt those lines make a difference, but it's the only User.ini settings I've seen so far that address this sort of thing at all. Animal 10-17-2004, 03:24 AM I'll have to mess around with it then bdm 10-17-2004, 11:28 AM ((Mesh=SkeletalMesh'Heavy Armour.ImperialHeavy',Ski n="ImperialHeavyProtectorSki n.ImperialHeavyProtectorS kin"),(Mesh=SkeletalMesh'Heav yArmour.PhoenixHeavy',Ski n="PhoenixHeavyJerichoSkin.P hoenixHeavyJerichoSkin"))) you can probably figure it out from there Animal 10-17-2004, 07:57 PM didn't work dbm... please elaborate, though. Animal 10-17-2004, 08:12 PM This is so effing stupid. It's saved correctly in my profile. I picked the custom skins as loadout skins... when I use quickloadouts, they don't appear. Is there something in the quickloadouts menu that's switching back to default when you use it? Animal 10-17-2004, 08:24 PM Ok, here's a question. Where do you edit the "Current Loadout"? That's the one that keeps getting reset back to normal.asd;ljkfa;owei;aos ijf | ||
