ip connect for TV?

A buddy of mine is looking at creating some TV tools, but he has one question...

just need the equivalent to +connect like in quake for the commandline

could anyone LMK what value it is that he is looking for?

dont think you can.However the console command is OPEN IP

Should just be able to pass the client the ip:port and if you need password then tack ?Password=blahblah on to that
