T:V engine.. fastest evar! Even with 2 ghz CPU and 2nd gen mid range Radeon 9600 pro.

who cares if the scene is not complex? Its obvious proof.
Haha.

You want loads of empty terrain and 100 fps? Thats easy to do too.

You want it to be as empty as T1 there is nothing stopping you from making terrain like that. That doesn't make it a problem with the engine. More complex the scene the lower the fps. Thats what happens with newer games thats why ppl upgrade.
I run the game at 1280x1024 (High, water on ultra and ps 2.0 on) and i get fps from 45-80 on a server with 20 people. I think that's pretty damn nice for an AMD Athlon XP 3000+. Ok, have a GF 6800 GT, but T:V is highly cpu-dependable.

Seriously man... without a benchmark its really not worth anyones time to guess wether you know what you are talking about or if you are as clueless as most the ppl in this thread.
Get Fraps. Open up a simple map like MP-Fort and make a couple of flag grabs. Comeback with specs and benchmark results. Otherwise its baseless claims.
I agree that a benchmark would be the only definitive way to acurately compare performance, but there's no real reason for Irrational to release one. T:V is based on an engine that already has a very good, reliable, and widely used internal benchmark. If I had to guess, I'd say my T:V performance at 1024x768 High detail performance is about on par with my UT2K4 Holy shazbot! setting performance. The only real difference is at Ultra-Hight detail cause of all the PS2.0 effects, which are absent in UT2K4.
There's a program called "BenchEm'All" that creates reproductable benchmarks for games without in-game benchmarks. Tweaking the UT2K3/4 settings a bit should work to get T:V running, I'll give it a try when I have some time.

Your comp is very close to what mine is. I am going to install the 66.81 drivers and see what happens.

Just for comparison:
P4 3.0c@3.3ghz 220 fsb HT Disabled
1GB Kingston HyperX PC3200
Evga Geforce 6800 Ultra 61.76 DX9.0B
XP Professional with SP2
T:V on Ultra (all settings) with PS 2.0, at 1024x768 4XAA 8xAF
Average about 45 fps. Highs in the 80s, dropping to 20s in heavy combat.

you need atleast 3ghz to run this game nicely.2.X gHz Athlon64 > 3.X gHz P4
