Where I live, it's still hard to even find a copy of the game.

However, around the Seattle area it's more or less prominent on the shelves and is being mentioned as #4 in the top 10 sellers.

Why does that impress you? Are you that surprised people are willing to subject themselves to such tedium based gameplay? Yeah, figured.

tedium? you never played tribes2, did you?

most communities for games can be over-optimistic........expecti ng grand things from something that turns out shazbot
tribes players are all unnecessarily pessimistic

Nu uh... that was retail numbers off the in-game browser. A little earlier was the big spike since it's prime time across a bigger area of Northa America. Now the East Coasters have gone ta bed.

The Tribes 2 you're refering to is a mythical game created by the special people here at TW.

Did you actually try to PLAY T2 when it first came out? The level of bullsh!t players had to wade through was 100x worse. Considering there are still UE's in T2 should be some indication that T2 was then, is now and forever will be a steaming pile of horse crap. The jury is still out on T:V.

Oh bull shaz.

Numbers were up tonight and continue to climb. This is still WAY early.
I was yapping with an EB manager today and he said it's selling better than expected.

Some people are just happier crying doom than being objective.

So true.

Well, I only saw about 500-600 on average as of Oct 16 throughtout the whole day... At the very least, I hope this game makes enough money so that the franchise will continue living.
