I joined an STD server and something downloads now I have this thing on the left and an error messege when I try to conect to any other server.
WTF. I have e-herpes now from that damn server. do I have to reinstall TV?

what files does it say are corrupt? maybe i could send you mine.
i was playing earlier and it said speedbar.u was corrupt, i just replaced it with the original i downloaded and it was fine.

Thats very odd that the download messed up yer game. I had that happen in another server and all it does is have a custom server image when you are playing, shouldn't mess up your game

Yea, that should probably work.
You make that change in the
C:\Program Files\VUGames\Tribes Vengeance\Program\Bin\TV_ CD_DVD.ini file.

FYI, the server is:
CYBERGYN[STD]'S INFECTED PLAYGROUND
i'm betting its his skin file .... though not sure how that messed up the whole thing.

That would be the Server Logo.. and disabling downloads is the best way to keep yourself from being able to join any servers.. especially when AdminMods and other things come out.
The only corrupt game file messages which are around are due to HUD Extensions and unfortunately those are unavoidable till IG fixes it.. Close.. Restart TV... and its gone, but its sporadic in how often it happens..

I came across the following when editing the AutoDownload section...

[XBoxAudio.XBoxAudioSubsys tem]
Is Vengeance coming to Xbox, or is this just something they happened to name those settings?
