For the record, the Unreal engine uses a cache system to deal with downloads, located in <game directory>/Cache, so it likely exists for T:V too(although I don't know where they would put it). If that's the case, just delete all the items in the cache, and that should fix the problem.

I choose servers based on number of people, ping, and map. THEN I consider the server.

I'd rather play Isle on STD with an 80 ping and a full server than play Spiridan on KGB

I came across the following when editing the AutoDownload section...

[XboxDrv.XboxClient]
[XBoxAudio.XBoxAudioSubsys tem]

Is Vengeance coming to Xbox, or is this just something they happened to name those settings?

just left over crap from the Unreal Engine I'm guessing

I've never had this happen yet, but shouldnt there be some kind of warning or prompt when you connect to the server that things are being downloaded. You know the way it worked in the old quake games if you connected and say you autodownload a map or skin etc that you dont have.

It does let you know, but depending on filesize, it could be so quick you don't know...

In most cases, if you cancel the download you will not be able to join the server, but there is actually ways for Mod authors to make sure that if a player decides to not want to download something, that they can pass it up, and still be able to play on the Server.

It shouldn't be an issue for something like this, as its fairly small and does nothing with any core T:V files. Downloaded files are stored in a Cache folder, as mentioned above, so they "live" there, unless you move them out, which you will want to do after collecting so many or needing to view a demo based around a file in your Cache
