Attn: Map designers.

Please re-make beach blitz. It is a great balanced map. In case you haven't played the map, I've included a .avi I made earlier 2day where I basically covered the whole map via shrike and on foot. That way, you can see how the map was designed.

SO, you can't say you didn't like that map in T2. Just make the distances between bases right, and that map will rock.

I said I didn't like it in T2? :O

I liked that map in regular CTF, but absolutely DESPISED it in spawnCTF.

Its interesting when you have most of the spawn points pretty far away from the flag (down the hill huge hill...)

In SCTF it was like, ocrap they kills you, spawn, and take basically the same amount of time getting up to the flag as the other team takes getting to yours.

I liked the map tho, there were so many ways you could play it...

I've played about as much Beach Blitz as I can take in Tribes 2.

It would play real nice in Tribes: Vengeance, so I can't disagree with this notion.

We did talk about this the other day. BB would probably play well and offers a diffent style of play then what we currently have (Bring on 5 HO offenses and Multi-HO Caps).

Id love to see it remade for T:V and having the SPlit SPawn SPheres would rock.

1 question. - 3 Spawn Choices or do you Kill the 1 by the flag to F with people? Can you do 3 spawn Choices?

Thats imported from a heightmap, and smoothed out. Notice its like half the size it should be :P The two dish parts are where the flag bases should be.

Anyways, if I could map worth a crap, I'd do it, but alas... :(

Looks good so far SO. Is there any tool with TribesEd that allows you to extend the map size? I think the reason why ported maps in T:V are so small is because everything in T:V is so damn huge :P

I actually cut parts of the heightmap off (the outer areas) because with them in there, it was even smaller... :(
