[T:V] Install problems (1607)

God Windows is stupid. I just got a copy of Vengeance and I can't effing install it because of this useless peice of shazbot (installshield) giving me the 1607 runtime error. I tried the site for a solution, NOTHING. Someone help me.

This is a Windows InstallShield problem. You need to go specifically to their website (not microsofts in case you got hung up on that) and run through the list of things that they suggest.

I had several problems with windows installsheild a while ago. The fixes that their site suggests if you fiddle with it long enough will usually result in a one time fix. Next time you need to install something you have to run through it again. In the end I had to re-install windows. Maybe you could get away with just doing a repair I don't know.

I fixed meh IS problem. Second question. Where can I buy a scratch remover? The play/install disc looks like a rabid cat had it's way with the disc, and this is from a fresh box too. It won't read weapons.pkg or something like that.
