[BUG] tv resets desktop refresh rate after reboot

here is the symptom:

boot pc.
start tv. i can play, or just check out options menu.
reset resolution in tv to 1024x768 from 640x480.
exit to windows (refresh rate is fine).
reboot pc. refresh rate is now set to lowest 60 hz
reset refresh to 85 hz.
start tv.
resolution has defaulted back to 640x480.

very repeatable.

amd 2100+
gef4 4600 - 66.72 currently in use (also tried .8x) and reverted because i thought maybe the newest drivers were causing this.

this is definitely a TV issue.

anybody else experiencing this?

went into tv_cd_dvd.ini and changed all entries that were
640x480 into 1024x768.

changed to read only.

problem seems to have disappeared.

im glad i figured a work around, but it still seems like a very windows unfriendly problem.
