needs a discount. I'm not joking around either, the ONLY computer games I could guarantee would sell anyway at 49.99 are doom 3 and hl2. that is higher than the standard of pricing and deals has been over the last couple years... gamers EXPECT $35-40 for a new release that isn't id or valve's or blizzards or someone like that... I'm all for buying at retail and supporting irrational just warning you that you are seriously a bit beyond the line of what the consumer base expects

BTW far cry was 39.99 retail and was a massive hit. if it launched at 49.99 I think it would have lost a lot of sales

and another thing, unreal 2004 was as cheap as $25-30 at many places at launch. $50 is WAY over what the times are right now if you want market penetration

I used the "free shipping code" at VUG's website to order mine.. TRIBES1CD or something, and it ended up charging me for shipping anyway

it said it had applied the coupon and everything, but there was a nice little clause "this offer can change at any time" or something
