Not that we're women... most of us would have really appreciated a jewel case to hold the CD's in however.
im sure you must have a 4cd jewel case somewhere
look, I bought doom3 and played the sp. im done with that, so I said screw it, im stealing doom3's nice 4cd jewel case. made some custom CD covers using illustrator, and now my cds have a nice little t:v jewel case.
VUG dropped the ball here tho

The funniest part is all the combined things...
Lackluster box art ... everyone here hated it. No problem though I tossed my box shortly after opening it anyway.
No jewel cases ... hrm that's ok I can get like 80 slim cases for 5 bucks or something rediculous.
CDs made so cheaply that a good portion don't even work when installing. (Not me, but I've heard a lot of complaints about this).
Dedicated server/secureROM issues... they fixed it quickly though (thanks Irrational).
It makes me wonder where the hell my 50 bucks went, probably 48 towards VUG and 2 towards Irrational :p.

The packaging sucks. Cover art is crap. Inside layout is very "soap opera" looking. The thing that always catchs people's eye about Tribes is a view taken from high in the air showing ships and players in the air. Everything other FPS is ground based, and they failed to emphasize this major difference.
Yes I know you see guys flying with jetpacks on the box art, but it does not give you that "massive ariel battle" feel that sets Tribes apart.

Tribes has always been plagued by cheesy graphics, models. Its just a mishap that the boxart for TV was uber cheesy, but hey it looks like they are marketing the game to 10 year olds. You are all over 10 years of age right?

I haven’t see cheap two colored disks in sleeves for a long time. This game should’ve been $39.99.

Ya ain't seen nuttun until you buy something from Atari!
They got so cheep that an entire production run of CDs for Never Winter Nights were of such sub-standard quality that they would shatter in your drive if you spun them faster than 32X!
VUG doesn't seem to be quite there yet...
Well, the only game I have bought from Atari in the last year was UT2k5. I actually got a DVD jewel case with mine but it may have been just because I bought the special preorder DVD edition which came with a headset. I kind of wonder if the 6 CD version came with any jewel cases.

I'm glad it was where I am (for this weekend anyway), and in Canadian dollars too :)

VUG is going to release a "gold edition" of T:V that dosnt have securom, has cases, and the box art is going to be r33t.....
all for $10-20 more
