Takes forever to connect.

On the TC MP demo, I would connect to a server in like 10 seconds, now, on the retail version, its takes me literally 10 minutes to connect to a server. Whats the deal?

Radeon 9800 Pro
1GB DDR Ram
120 GB Harddrive
2.8 GHz Proc
Cable Connection

Don't say "literally" unless you really mean it. 10 minutes? That's half a map.

Anyway, do you mean it takes forever to connect or to load the map? If it's the map screen with the progress bar, then it's the map that's taking forever. Map loading speed is usually directly related to RAM, but since you have a gig, you shouldn't have a problem.

Unless by "10 minutes", you really meant 1 minute. Because that's not that bad (takes me 15-30 seconds on 1 gig DDD500 corsair).

No I really mean 10 minutes. I let it sit there and timed it. It doesnt do this ALL the time, but for the most part it does. And its the connecting part, not the map. Most of the time I just grow impatient and leave and keep trying over and over until it connects almost instantly... But thats getting really old really fast.
