I haven't even played the game yet, but am already put off by the fact that bHideFirstPersonWeapon seems to have been forgotten in the retail version.

I seriously doubt I play much, especially competitively, if I am forced to look at the stupid weapon, and reload animations.

*edit* Oh well, effem. They got what they wanted, I bought the game.

I got lucky i got mine from gamespot right as the shipment came so he had to go in the back and get it right out of the box so my was sticker free. :D

Infact, I wont play it at all until it is scripted in. It means that much to me, and that aint no shazbot neither.

But like I said, what does it matter, I bought the thing, so I did my part to 'support' the franchise, even if I dont play it :shrug:

Hey, I hate to be pessimistic over something so small, but it is something that was in the Open Beta, and the Demo, yet it is mysteriously missing, from retail. I DONT wish to see the weapons, at all, its annoying, and distracting.

As the old adage goes: When a consumer gets great customer service, they tell 3 people about it, when a consumer gets 'less than average' customer service, they tell 10 people (or more) about it.

I think this adage loosely apples here.

Did you try just typing that line in at the end of the applicable .ini? That might work.

Actually, bHideFirstPersonWeapon is in retail...

When you first install the game user.ini is all pretty and formatted, but when you run the game once, it reverts back to what the one in the beta and demo looked like. At least, mine did.

HideFirstPersonWeapon is there. It's near the bottom.
