Windows only. If you want to give it a shot, you could try wine.

I am a big Linux guy myself, but I understand where they are comming from. Licensing for the physics system they purchased from what I understand (could be wrong) only inlcuded one OS, which means they would pay extra for Linux. Also, they would have to either learn more about the OS if they haven't developed for the platform before, or else hire another developer to help out. This is a small dev group, nothing like Epic Games or id Software, they are much more limited. Now, if they already had the experience, then it mainly comes down to who is calling the shots, and that is really VUG, not Irrational.

why is the WebAdmin utility soo handy capped compared to the Unreal Tournament WebAdmin utility? With the UT WebAdmin there are alot more options and settings you can do via the utility. The T:V WebAdmin is very basic and not as elaborate. Since the T:V is almost identical in design as UT (all but the graphic), why was a lot of the options you see in UT removed from T:V?

Awesome! These guys are on their toes! Thanks Irrational!

If they were truly on their toes, this would have been released with the game, or the same day the game came out. It is strictly pitiful that a dedicated server was not available on day one.

L I N U X - Server!

It's really a pity to have to play on "foreign" servers if you _could_ run a server for you and your friends if there were a linux version :/

So, can somebody's who's actually tested this out reveal whether or not it's less demanding on system resources or not than the full release?

Doesn't seem to be. Of course different maps cause different cpu useage. I noticed it uses less memory however.
