I've seen programs like SecuROM really make a mess of games, C-Dilla and Mechwarrior come to mind.

BTW anyone attacking BitRaiser is way off, this guy always seems to post good, constructive stuff from what I've seen.

Anyway, it's really good to know Irrational's on the case now. I can't even buy the game for another couple days thanks to me being a Canuck... I just don't like seeing blame dropped on those that don't deserve it. Irrational could become a major player in the deminishing Dev house pool. Having their name dragged through the mud for something that was beyond their control would be a crying shame.

The problem is, if they try to put their foot down, it's lible to get lopped off. VUG has paid the bills for the development cycle and there's not alot of leverage Irrational can use against them.

Valve is a different story since they are packing some serious lisences firepower of their own, but they've been just as abusive to VUG as VUG to them.

The ones that can really make an impact on VUG is... US! We the people, or rather we the consumers. If we vote with our dollars and not by the game, Irrational will suffer, so that's not the best option. You can still E-mail VUG and let them know what you think. If you have the slightest problem with secuROM DEMAND satisfaction from them.
