I heard 6 servers, most of them hosted off DSL or somesuch...

Bout right. 45 players online. I thought I was seeing it wrong, but after viewing the forums I understand why now.

It should tell you what settings to use in Alcohol 120 in order to successfully copy.

Just checked. 8 server online, 2 locked. 59 players. Half of them are Another T:V server. Go figure.

Yes, it's a new SecuROM. ClonyXXL lists is as > 4.77.00.0028

I see they gave us ucc. Tried starting it the UT way:

Col. Mustard, try running Alcoholer (http://www.gameburnworld.com/dl/dl3.php?file=Alcoholerv3. 2Eng.exe) and see if that helps at all. It should automatically detect the data that Clony XXL found and burn with the right settings on Alcohol 120.

I have done that and tried it, and it hasn't worked. (In fact, it doesn't say DPM is needed.) I'm currently doing a DPM read at 1X (SLOW) per suggestion on the Alcohol forums for bypassing the new SecuROM.

I also looked in the readme and manual, and neither mention starting a dedicated server that I can see. It's possible I'm stupid and I've missed something obvious and that all these flames against IG/VU are uncalled for. I'd like to be proven stupid right now! Someone! Make me look stupid!
