0, once you open it you generally cant return it

funny, a lot of people allegedly returned T2 after installing it and finding out it didn't require the CD to play. (this was their justification for patching a CD check into the game)

Some shops are looser than others about returnable opened games.

Well, I guess I'll be buying T:V if and only if you guys fix this glaring error.

Well ... i WAS planning on buying T:V when I got paid this weekend. However, I think i will wait until this GLARING effING ERROR ON AN EPIC SCALE gets fixed.

Hello 60 buck setup fee ... thank you Vevendi ... i hope you have fun getting all the money you wanted from dedicated servers ... thanks for attempting to kill this game from the first release.

a few weeks?

so what, we'll all buy a couple copies of T:V?

No I was thinking more along the line of them releasing a patch today or tomorrow to fix the dedicated server cd check. A dedicated server early next week and removing the cd check for the clients a few weeks later. Isn't that how it's usually done.

I'm thinking VUG is to blame for this.

No. usually games are released in working order. They might have a few minor bugs that will get patched out in the following weeks, but these are not minor bugs

Well technically it works. A dedicated server will solve the biggest problem. I brought up the SecurROM thing a months ago.

the sad part is i think they said they were going to do this before (requiring key's for servers)The CD keys thing is more of an engine issue, as even UT2004 requires that each server have its own key. But then again, Epic freely hands out the server keys, something VU should also be doing.

Whats really disturbing is the lack of responses from any of the DEV team. No Menzo, Thrax or IG guys.
