OK, My A120 run just got done, while I was able to make a succesful image fo the game, I still cannot defeat the securom shazbotty fufu that they used.

But with that name on the heavy, you would think that armor would get a deployable laptop to control the other teams stuff or something :p

I give much respect for IG for making the game, as the demo is really nice, but I have to echo the statements here... mostly being the "What the?!?!?!" kind...

Two glaring issues with the release:
1) no linux dedicated server ready yet (which we already knew)... Still miffed about the lack of a linux client, but oh well.
2) CD in-drive for the dedicated server.... ? wha???

That makes no sense at all... I can't really add much to the thread aside from scratching my head on this one. Just make the point that someone should PM the devs or give them a call, prehaps the TW mods have contact info for the IG devs... granted any release of a modified ded server which does not need the CD in drive might need to go through VU Games for an 'ok' first, so it could be a bit of time... Really bad miss though.

Well, I've exausted just about all of my ideas on how to fix this. Short of some warez nocd hack, we're stuck. The server I'm running crashes periodically, so obviously THAT wasn't fixed from the demo either.

I am going to run a dedicated server on my machine for awhile and sacrafice playing T:V until this is fixed. Name of the server will be Kryptik's Brothel.

It may go down for a minute or two while I get the config correct, so sorry for that ahead of time.

Yes, the other draw back will be amount of players on the server. I will try setting it to 16 to see how it handles the traffic load and if it is bad then I will cut it to 12.

Short of that, this is about all I can do until they pull their heads out of their a$$

Im glad i found this post, i was going to purchase the game tonight, but I will not until this "mistake" is corrected. Nice job, im having t2 flashbacks of a brilliant start.
