My specs are,

p4 3ghz @3.4
p4p800d
x800pro w/ 8.07 beta drivers
512mb pc3200 value ram
120gig sata hd

If I run t:v at 1024 res at high detail I get around 50fps and it drops to 30-20's when around the enemy base tryin to do something...
If I run it at 800res at high detail I get pretty much the same fps.

I got every update and driver. I have norton 04 and adaware working all the time.

any ideas?

Same thing's happening to me. Had 80fps in the open beta, now I get 40-50fps with the same settings.

My game always feels like it has tiny shutters and I get shazbot ass fps...
When i get more money im gona get a new mother board and some ocz ram =/

Could it possibly have something to do with my harddrive or another part of my comp thats causing the problems?

turn off norton and adaware, depending on what you've got norton doing, could help a good bit

also, make glow medium or 'low/off'. that glow is the biggest kick in the fps pants.

turn off nortons and adware, you only have 512mb of ram

I just turned off everything with endall and I still only get like 30-48 fps....
But it does seem like theres less shutters now..

there must be some weird things affecting FPS...

earlier when I was taking screenshots for my HUD I set renderdetail to 1 to get better FPS so I could do some stuff, but for some reason that gave me horrible choppiness.. renderdetail 3 was actually much smoother.

there's also that reducemouselag thing.. some people claim that turning it off will increase FPS, but when I tried that I got some bad stuttering

Same deal. I played in a match last night in 10fps in any kind of action. It was horrible. This is after I tweaked it. I am using a Ti4600 with 128 MB ram. I know I am gonna have to upgrade but I would have thought I could have gotten by until then. Adjusting resolution has no effect. In an empty server I get a decent framerate around 40-50. But the action is when I need the fps, so its kind of a moot point.

It does seem to stutter much more than open beta.

Could the 8.07 beta drivers be causing an issue? I'm playing T:V with the 4.8's and the game works great. It's also a 9800 Pro though.

AMD Athlon XP 2800 @ 2.083 ghz
1024mb PC3200 Ram
Geforce 6800 128mb @ 780/390

I have some very inconsistent and huge fps problems, I notice that this game is very CPU intensive, and sometimes a pc restart will give me a boost if i was just running another game or a lot of apps.

i have worked many many many hours to try to figure out what went wrong. im going to reformat my hd see if anything changes

p4 3.4 ghz
750 mb ram
nvidia geforce fx5700 256 mb ddr ram
low settings
from 17-21 fps in the heat of battle (10v10+) and 25-30 in not much action (7v7+ not near action)

i also know that my motherboard can only support 4x agp but god effing damnit i just bought this card. i should still be getting at least 10 more fps, right?

I get the same FPS that I did in the beta. Same settings, same FPS.

Fishstix, AGP 8x will not add 10 more frames. It probably wont even add one more. Make SURE you have PS 2.0 OFF in the in-game settings. Your card is horrible at PS 2.0, and it will kill your frames. Your CPU is just about top notch for a Intel, but your video card is really hurting you. Its last gen's midway card. If you can, I would sell it and get a next gen card.

I'm hoping this is a driver issue. Using cat 4.9's on a 9800 pro and the frame lag is unplayable. I can't even walk onto an inv it is so bad. I'm going to do a clean install with the 4.8 cats, or maybe the omega version of the 4.8's. I'll bump this thread with the results.

The odd thing though - this only happens when playing online.

I am not sure it is. I am having these same issues so I tried all the cat drivers back to 4.6, and even ran through the equivilent Omega drivers.

No difference in performance. I saw that it was a hair better with the latest Omega drivers, but not much. So I am not exactly sure what true culprit/solution is.

Beta I ran 1600X1200 in Ultra High without a problem!
Demo I have to run resolution down one level at the High settings for it to run smooth.

Well I upgraded to the latest Cats, and I'm still getting 2/3's the FPS I was getting in the open beta with the same exact settings. I'd really like Dev clarification if something was changed because it's driving me nuts.
