Raven 10-06-2004, 10:22 AM we need someone from irrational to at least COMMENT on it. pretty big problem. hh_cloud 10-06-2004, 12:26 PM You get "server is full" when its full (duh). Now for some reason, says it 15/16 and two people join, you'd both load and the fastest wins. It always happens when theres on slot left, either I says its full or loads for no reason and kicks me off, tried it with a room-mate. This is probably why, if you're getting these errors on joining a server. Trevelyan 10-07-2004, 02:52 PM Yeah, this problem has affected me as well since the beta, and I was hoping it would be fixed by release, but it hasn't. It's not because I'm trying to join an almost full/full server. This happens when I've been playing for a little while in a server in tournament mode, or free for all. There is no noticeable thing that always causes it. I can have the flag going back to my base to cap and wham, kicked out of the server with the message "connection rejected by server". This has happened in matches, scrims and pubbing it. Happens about once in the span of two maps, and happened three times last night. This is ridiculous and is worse than T2 UE's!!!! I could play T2 for hours upon hours, and there was a slight chance of me getting a UE, but it was rare unless I minimized the game. Now I can't even get through a freaking match without dropping once or twice? This will affect every match played, for many people, and this could turn the tide for whatever team this affects during a match. How will we be able to that competition is the best for this game with all this uncertainty and at times uneven teams that create uneven match ups. Please, someone tell us how to fix this HUGE issue, or if this will be fixed in the (near?) future. Thank you, Trev Trevelyan 10-07-2004, 03:03 PM Maybe their waiting for someone to log it correctly and give helpful information they can use to find and fix the problem. Like router settings, what server you were on, what you were doing it happened. Ping and PL information, you know, like stuff that will help. Less wah, more help. Thanks. I'll give as much info as I can... Default router settings. I expect not to have to mess with my router for a new game to work, especially if this game is supposed to get casual gamers interested. This happens no matter what server I am on, all servers I join are under 50 ping in the server list, and under 100 ping in game. I can be doing anything when it happens. Occasionally when I'm in a fight, often when I have the flag and am halfway home on a sure score (it seems, and this always puts a smile on my face!!! ~sarcasm~), and sometimes when I'm just skiing somewhere. I have a brand new machine I built primarily to play this game.. Here are the specs: Intel Pentium 4/ 2.8E GHz 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology ABIT "IC7-G MAXII ADVANCE" i875P Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU ZALMAN CNPS7000A-Cu Pure Copper CPU Cooler for AMD XP Socket 462/ 754 and Intel Socket 478 Arctic Silver Premium Silver Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound, Model "Arctic Silver 5", 3.5-gram( 1 cc. ) tube Mushkin 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3500 Level One Dual Pack Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse USB/ PS/2 PNY GeFORCE 6800GT 256MB DDR3 Please let me know if there is any other info I can give to solve this problem. Thanks again, Trev wrEk 10-07-2004, 04:22 PM I cannot connect to any multiplayer servers. I receive a "Rejected by server" error every single time. I'd give more information, but I'm at work right now. vivrant 10-11-2004, 07:17 PM :bump: like i said fix this  its retarded Darklord 10-11-2004, 07:27 PM It would be nice for them to comment on it, they havent yet even after all these threads on it... vivrant 10-12-2004, 05:14 PM i know and ill keep bumping this till they at least acknowledge it Yankee 10-12-2004, 05:17 PM http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7295189# 7295189 I had the problem all the way through beta and retail....all gone now. Also, thinking that you shouldn't have to adjust router settings for gaming is rediculous. There is no way a dev team can possibly test ever nic/router/modem combo. Disdain 10-12-2004, 05:44 PM http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7295189# 7295189 I had the problem all the way through beta and retail....all gone now. Also, thinking that you shouldn't have to adjust router settings for gaming is rediculous. There is no way a dev team can possibly test ever nic/router/modem combo. But Yankee, your post makes no sense! If you were to de-dmz your PC and you "fixed" things, that's just odd! As in, perhaps you simply haven't seen issues again....yet. The only thing I can think of that might be going on here is some sort of packet flood, or something that's causing baby-routers to choke, and that D-Link's Gaming setting somehow bypasses that. Now on my end, with a Linksys I have nothing like that. I can do port forwarding, but that doesn't seem to help anyone out either and if DMZing my PC doesn't help, what am I to do!? I haven't tried uPnP, I'll try that next time I get a chance to play T:V. What it comes down to is that as unexplainable as the problem is, your "fix" is equally as unexplainable. But, I'm glad you're working AOK. Yankee 10-12-2004, 05:53 PM I realize it makes no sense. I'm sure its a problem within the D-Link Firmware. The last thing Iwould have tried was to take the gaming box out of the DMZ, but I had seen posts here suggesting that. I am considering sending this info along to D-link, but I'd doubt they care. Mouse` 03-08-2005, 07:25 PM Anyone find a fix for this yet?? I have full retail version.. Same issue with Linksys router.. So its not D-Link firmware.. Its obviously not the individual computers.. Most logical anwser I have read thus far is the flood comment with weaker routers. Anywho.. Anyone find a real solution other then buying another brand of router? | ||
