MikSchultzy 10-01-2004, 12:27 PM T2 had alot of things going on... Problem is, none of it really came about till so late in the game's "life", and so, most of the people who had played it in the begining had already left/moved on.
Granted... I personally still had a blast. I'd play it again if there was a good 500+ people playing.

As much as I hate to say it, I think that T:V will have a much larger player count when it first comes out. Why, I don't know. It just feels like there's going to be a good 4x the amount of jerks out there to play against. And because of this, I think T:V may just last abit longer - reguardless of how newbie-fied it has been.
T2 was only worth playing cause of TR2 :)

are you kiddin me.. you must have played after the ladders and leagues and all the other drama we went through. you never played against (S|B), aC, MHC, flux, atomic... man a bunch of people played tr2... we still play sometimes.

gOOse 10-01-2004, 02:34 PM Im going to say it again GreaTTribal war (GTW) Oh man did you guys ever play that mod (I know mods kill but it was just classic physics) Heavies could move your teams spawn piont (you only had one) around. It had everything in t2 + deployable vehicals but the thing is the gameplay was so much better
example you see the nme you COULD just start shooting at him OR follow him without him seeing you to hopefully find thier base.( Their were many empty bases on the map and you moved to different ones ) Defence had a whole new meaning , meaning not only do you hold off the assult but before the next one you pack up everything and TRY to move. Its just cool stuff.
AND THE MAPS HOLY SHIZZBOT the scale that felt real made you wonder why all of tribes 2 wasnt like this. Just had to see it I guess. Words dont do it justice especially mine.
T2 will die soon sadly but hopfully we can get GreaTTribal war running in Thribes Vagrances.
Asura 10-01-2004, 03:14 PM i only play Quantium and related con mods, as well as T2RPG. i only play v2 when im REALLY bored. i have to say, the wide range of gadgetry was cool. the fact that most of those gadgets were bullshazbot is the problem. plus the fact that it ctrl+k'ed far too much.

Did you read the whole post, including the quote???? ~400 servers. That was in the spring, I have no idea what it is now.
