Add in teamwork, and points for teamwork and accomplishing important things. Right now all anyone does is kill, and assist killing, because that's all that earns points. Aside from that, pretty much capping is the only other thing that gets done, other than people deploying turrets and using vehicles to...kill the enemy. Anything else they get points for is a side affect of killing. There should be LOTS more options of earning points than just killing the enemy. I'm not sure which of these are already done, but you should get points for(and you can balance it out):
Destroying- Enemy turrets, generators, inventory stations, sensors, vehicles, deployables, catapults, etc. Destroying anything of the enemy's should net you points, because it's important to team play even if it's more difficult to accomplish.
Defending- Inside of your base, the flag, the flag carrier.
Killing- You should get extra points for killing Flag carriers, and flag defenders. You should also get points for flatout killing people, but it should be miniscule compared to the other points you can earn to discourage deathmatching constantly. Killing newly spawned people should be worth nothing, as in winterlake it's not exactly uncommon to get someone blowing the crap out of the invo room with mortars, and it's a pretty cheap kill if you randomly blow someone up who just spawned helplessly.
Style: Midair discing, headshot snipes, moving target snipes, sniping a pilot, far distance shots(Say anything over 150M I guess, I'm not sure of the exact weapon ranges in this game), far range buckler hits, etc.
Not sure how easy the style ones are to impliment, but really..IMO, the game needs more emphasis for teamwork, because right now it's not really CTF as much as mass deathmatch. I still like the game, but I'd like to see the points system altered. What do you think?
