I actually managed (luck?) to snag a capper in midair and held him for 1.5 sec .my teammate then finished him off...also tried the assault ship counter :) ..couldn't get burner out in time but it was fun to try.....i like the longer reach but the sh1t breaks too easily. I never cared enough to use it but now that I have my ELF back (albeit requiring skill now) it's not bad --added it to my Bastard loadout BitRaiser 10-02-2004, 03:39 AM Heehee... I'm seeing more and more people out trying this stuff. I wound up going against some guys that were doing the Pod swing thing. There really is nothing like grabbing the flag on Isle, grappling the enemy pod which is spamming you, then having an enemy LD accidentally miss you and snipe the pod pilot. He grapples the pod and swings around on it, using the repair pack to keep it alive and raping with the burner (no energy problems since you're just grappled) and disc. It was working absurdly well.
