It was our first anything as a team, and our strategy and thinking about T:V was WAY wrong. If it were me today, I would laugh at what we were trying to do on emerald. Our cappers didn't even use the grappling hook well, if at all. Thats how bad it was. We figured things out fairly quickly after that scrim and since then we have also made a few key player pickups. I think this is a fair evaluation of just about any of the top tier "tribes" teams. Give them a few months and they'll be back in the swing of things. I think this beta ladder is being taken a bit to seriously at the current juncture. Give it time and teams will start to fade into their potential. Obviously the ones that get their first will have the experience to make game changing decisions come match time and in turn be able to pull out flag stand offs and ties when it's needed. Otherwise I think we'll be looking at some really good competition a month after release.
