1. If you're this good, how come we've never heard of you?
2. You think we can base your skill off of what you tell us?
3. Welcome to TW fellow member

Alot of people have heard of Alex G, but he doesn't have a forum account either.

I bet there are more people that haven't heard of this "Alex G" person than those that have

I understand that... but you can tell by reading someone's post if they have a spelling problem, or if they made some typing errors. If you wont concider me because I'm human and make mistakes, then I would rather not be in your tribe anyway.
but what if you hit the wrong key (aka 'misspell') during a match and lose it for us!!?!?@

Grudge, the more you post the more you sound like a fool.

As for my bashing you, I'm sorry you took it so hard. Honestly.

And as for my reason behind doing so, I think PR24 and "blast of death" summed it up.

Maybe a TWL record or something would be useful right now? Or a BEML...

no, not BEML

Well, you are doing better and I am proud of you. I will give you some extra credit and mark you up to a B. I would have gone with a B-, but since you changed clan to tribe, I gave you a little extra.

I would recruit you, but we are not pro gamers. We are "PRO" slackers.

You might want to include what positions you play

excusing the pro thing.

A lot of the flaming is, well, this IS Tribalwar dot com, and people here are eff-tards. Also, most people here don't like the "I am l33t, recruit me posts". I understand you were polite about it. Saying you felt you were a good player and you were looking for a team that is serious about playing. But it's still the same post.

The best way in Tribes to be recruited is to hang around the servers the "good teams" play on. Servers like 5150 (2 and 3), ]CkB[ Don't Ask Don't Tell, Hell, etc. Play on those servers, find some people from some of the tribes you like, and then either find them in IRC (irc.dynamix.com:6667) and ask if they're recruiting or have a scheduled try out.

If you're just going to post, people are going to want the following info:

What position do you play?
Are you able to play other positions?
What other teams have you played for?
On what ladders have you competed in Tribes on?
What was the highest run attained?

If you have no answer for the last three, chances are (not saying definately, but still) that you're not as good as you think you are. But whatever, tryouts will determine that anyhow.

Good luck in getting recruited.

To answer this before the flames or such idiocy - status on TW is a result of time registered, not post count.

Pretty much. I never post, but all these newcomers see Vet4 and think my opinion actually has any weight.

Not really.

shady!

Our site is halfway through completion. PM Arcanox on the forums include IM info.

Anyone who comes to TribalWar to get recruited, cannot be a T1/T2 vet, because they would know better.

As far as thinking that your suddenly a Pro tribes player, before the game is released. And considering the calibre of players out there, is VERY presumptuous.
