Pro player looking for a serious Tribe

Well... since "Pro" = being paid to play, I wanna know who's gonna be signing yer paychecks!

Is what they are saying. Not to make fun of the thread starter's choice of words or anything, just pointing out some other's points of view which motivate their replies here.

Okay. I think I need some clarification about what you define as "pro." Does this mean you'll be paid solely from playing T:V? Or that you "rawk so hawd" that you feel you deserve top spots on upcoming tribes?

lol... I wasn't meaning that to be an attack. Seriously though... I would hate to be under the leadership of someone that's going to look down on me because I accidently put my finger on the wrong key.

Not to be a dick here but this is a competative game. Putting your finger on the wrong key at the wrong time could be the difference between winning and losing a match. Just to split hairs.

But, what if you accidently press the "lose game" key instead of the "win game" key in a #1 match? I think being able to press the right key is very important to the team.

I don't see why it takes so much effort for others here to have some respect. It's not like I'm someone spamming the board with useless nonsense like the people who go out of their way to make a post on the first page of a topic that consists only of "First post! Yeah, I kick @$$!".

What does the ammount of posts I have in a forum have anything to do with my skill in the game? The reason I'm only a "member" here is because I rarely post due to the way people are treated by regular "vets" here. I decided to take a chance at posting because I'm looking for a good tribe. My post was respectfull and not pointless, so I don't see any reason for me to be attacked. I guess the regulars here don't need a reason to treat "members" like $hit other than the fact that they are regulars.

To stop the "pro" related responces here, I appologize for using that word. I'm sure the people who've laughed at me for using the term, or looked down on me for any reason because of it... aren't THAT ignorant enough to not realize what I meant by it. I was just saying that I'm a good player... better than average... skilled. Is it realy something I need to explain in such detail?

Thank you. It feels good to know I'm not the only one here that feels this way. I'm not much for talking in message boards... doesn't mean I'm not a skilled player. I've played Tribes sence the beta was released for Starsiege Tribes.

A Tribes 1/2 Vet would never make a post saying they're a PRO player.

I honestly think a lot of new comers to T:V are saying they're vets to make people think better of them.
