Do either of you have any plans to mod T:V? (Is it even possible?)
If so, how soon can we look forward to you getting that out?
Thanks.

Spiderman 09-28-2004, 01:41 PM Why you think they will slow it down and throw in a bunch of useless cool looking vehicles? j_thunders 09-28-2004, 01:42 PM I don't think anything. Just asking a question. MasterGnr 09-28-2004, 01:43 PM don't make fun of him oh great webslinger.... you may see many more posts like that in the near future Amadeus 09-28-2004, 01:49 PM Does it need to be modded? Either way, ZOD already said he's going to change the things he doesn't like... Fool 09-28-2004, 01:50 PM The only things that need to be modded if they haven't been fixed already are tourny mode and admin controls. eM.Einsteinium 09-28-2004, 01:50 PM z0dd and ZOD modded T2 because it completely sucked and didn't even come close to being fun. If they find T:V fun, they're not going to put in the time to mod it. So, you may first want to ask them if they're enjoying T:V or if they have any game breaking dislikes with T:V. Zxqv8 09-28-2004, 01:51 PM More power to ZOD in that case, I can only hope for the sake of his boredom that people like what he makes. And I can only hope for our sake that its not too many people. The last thing I want to see is Base getting buried under hundreds of variants. eM.Einsteinium 09-28-2004, 01:52 PM Why you think they will slow it down and throw in a bunch of useless cool looking vehicles? They were either utterly useless or completely overpowered. No balance in the vehicles (but damn if shriking wasn't fun) ruready 09-28-2004, 01:55 PM Someone needs to get to work on an LT MOD :) JimBodkins 09-28-2004, 01:56 PM z0dd and ZOD modded T2 because it completely sucked and didn't even come close to being fun. Not to be confrontational, honest, but you dont speak for everyone. I respect your opinion, but not everyone thought T2 sucked (beyond the bugs). I understand why you did. You should have said, if I may, I think T2 sucked ---- because. I liked it. Zxqv8 09-28-2004, 01:59 PM I really only liked classic and meltdown 2, base was painful for me because it robbed me of personal speed. Other than that I don't regret buying T2 at all. ruready 09-28-2004, 02:00 PM T2 rocked, out of the box. Fix the physics and re-release the game and you have pure gold. Equaknox 09-28-2004, 02:04 PM T2 rocked, out of the box. Fix the physics and re-release the game and you have pure gold. wtf.. Ace07 09-28-2004, 02:08 PM T2 rocked, out of the box. Fix the physics and re-release the game and you have pure gold. T2 didn't rock out of the box... :) T2 Classic rocked yes......but the earlier versions weren't too great at all. KillerONE 09-28-2004, 02:08 PM You say mod it, but how so? What do you think needs to be added? Maps and a new gametype would go a LOOOONG way imo. I think T:V has an awesome balance of weapons and tools with a good deal of depth. I just think we need some more exciting maps and something other than CTF. (PS, I liked/like T2 (Base, Base++, V2 and Classic) all lots o fun) Zio 09-28-2004, 02:09 PM I WILL PLAY ZOD's MOD AND I WILL LOVE IT!!! FishStix 09-28-2004, 02:11 PM i'd like to see a mod for kicks and shazbots. nothing more. the community should stick with normal base as long as effing possible Ace07 09-28-2004, 02:12 PM i'd like to see a mod for kicks and shazbots. nothing more. the community should stick with normal base as long as effing possible True, no one can really judge yet though whether this truly needs a mod or not. Just making new maps might be sufficient enough to keep the gameplay going (at least I think so). I want more Isle style maps....HUGE and fun. ;) ruready 09-28-2004, 02:16 PM T2 didn't rock out of the box... :) T2 Classic rocked yes......but the earlier versions weren't too great at all. It rocked for me, I thought it was a really good sequel to T1, minus the soupy physics... ;( If they fixed that and re-released it, it'd be better than T:V is now, in my opinion. | ||
