Post Your Sys Specs and T:V SettingsThriky 09-28-2004, 01:44 PM <3 Sanchez 09-28-2004, 02:08 PM I haven't tested. I didn't know there was a way to test frames in-game. Explain if there is. Otherwise, I think I'm a fairly good judge of fps... and I can say that the game runs fluid to me. Feels like at least 50 fps. No stutering unless there's lag in the server. No choppiness at all in single player. I built this system for Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. This game runs perfect on it. I also turn off all programs running in the background. add -console to the end of the "start in" window under your TV shortcut properties. Tab opens console, stat fps shows your fps (duh) FishStix 09-28-2004, 02:13 PM Pent. 4 WinXP 2.4 ghz 750 mb ram Radeon 9100 Custom settings (mostly low, some medium, and fogging high) and i get 15-25 fps I'm buying a Geforce MX 5700 soon, so that will change greatly FishStix 09-28-2004, 02:14 PM p4 1.5 ghz 512 ram GForce FX 5200 640 480 all low detail and still get about 25 fps thats effing weird my bro has geforce 4 ti 4200 and can run it high settings with 30-40 fps  bosk :D StyeL 09-28-2004, 02:21 PM AMD ATHLONXP 2100+ 1.7ghz 256mg RAM GF2 Ti450 64mb Onboard Sound NForce2 Win Xp Settings: Everything Low or Off except for Fog(high) V2.0 Shadders(on) Res: 800x600 ~70fps when the action is low ~20(and dips to 10) in high action. I need more ram, after a few maps the game starts getting choppy and i have to restart. Ace07 09-28-2004, 02:27 PM thats effing weird my bro has geforce 4 ti 4200 and can run it high settings with 30-40 fps  bosk :D Actually, it isn't too wierd at all...the GF4 TI's are superior to the early FX models. AMD Athlon 1700+ 1024 PC2100 DDR RAM Geforce4 TI 4200 w/ 64 DDRAM 1024x768 Custom I turn everything on low/off except for Textures (High), World Detail(Med), Terrain Deco (On) and Fogging Distance(High). I get from 25-35 depending on the map and situation. :browsmile ZenTseTse 09-28-2004, 02:42 PM pentium 2.8ghz 1.5gig ram 9800 pro 128 audigy 2 zs plat dual monitors runs great at full detail... i dont even pay attention to FPS. i dont think it ever drops below 40s germ 09-28-2004, 02:57 PM I get different results from using stat fps in-game as opposed to Fraps. The in-game graph will drop to 19-22 at some points, while the Fraps benchmarking utility says my lowest framerate was 32. So which one is correct? It never seems to get choppy, so this makes me think stat fps doesn't work so well. (On a side note, stat net shows some crazy results too...but that's another thread.) Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway, here are my specs: XP 2600 (333FSB) A7N8X Deluxe (using Soundstorm audio) 1GB Corsair 9700 Pro running the game @ 1024x768x32 High Detail/Ultra High draw distance (no AA/AF) Apc 09-28-2004, 03:10 PM Athlon XP 1800 (1.56Ghz) 1280mb ram GeForce 4 Ti-4600 onboard soyo sound settings: 1024x768 Low exactly the same except with a ATI 9600 256mb PlaZmaSnake 09-28-2004, 03:26 PM AMD Athlon XP 2800 @ 2.08ghz 512MB PC3200 ram Geforce 6800 128mb at 780/395 On 1280x1024 with everything on ultra high, my FPS will be over 60 continually, but it'll drop sometimes to about 15 because of my ram (mostly a freeze). Hell Phoenix 09-28-2004, 04:13 PM Intel Pentium 3 1 ghz 512 mb ram quadro 4 xgl pro 128mb I can run T:V on medium settings and i will get 30 fps but i customize with view distance and stuch.......1280x1024 res. Over 20 and I often drop below 30. knuckle 09-28-2004, 06:02 PM AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Asus Mainboard 512 Mb Crucial DDR ram Saphire Radeon 9600 XT 128mb Windows XP, 800x600 with these settings: http://andeburu.studioink.org/tribes/files/TV_settings.jpg I get 30-ish fps on a busy server. Does that sound right for my system? Dud 09-28-2004, 06:06 PM P4 3200mhz 1024 mb DDR 400 gainward (?) Radeon 9800pro 128mb 1280x1024 Ultra high fps pretty ok evolvo 09-28-2004, 06:11 PM p4 2.0 dbillings mobo 4x agp gf4 ti4600 1gb pc2700 low settings, medium fogging distance, 40 fps when not fighting, 20 fps in fights (depending on map i may get 30).......... 1024x MaD_ReBeL 09-28-2004, 06:12 PM Do you have the same processor/ram speeds that I do? I use the catalyst drivers with my 9800 Pro. As stated in my specs, I have an M-Audio Delta 66 soundcard. It's a professional musician's soundcard used more for recording and editing than gaming... but it works great with games also. I just don't get the 5.1 surround :(. you should buy a chaintech av-710 soundcard that you run your games off. you can have it shipped to your house from newegg for less than 30 dollars. the sound quality is as good as your delta card but doesnt have all the other high end options (analog/digital ins/outs etc). but its capable of 7.1 (not that anything uses that) and performs as well as any non creative card in games. GuitarGuy 09-28-2004, 06:15 PM CPU: AMD 64-bit Motherboard: Asus K8N-E Delux RAM: Kingston 1GB PC 3200 184-Pin DIMM Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 256 MB Harddrive: Western Digital SATA 74GB 10,000 RPM 1024x768 @ Low w/ fogging distance @ Ultra High Ace07 09-28-2004, 06:17 PM I get 30-ish fps on a busy server. Does that sound right for my system? Ya, that sounds about right. The 9600XT is about on par with the higher Geforce4 TI's. I get about 30 with my TI 4200 with the same settings except I can't stand 800x600, so I upped the resolution. Hurricane Harold 09-28-2004, 06:19 PM AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Asus Mainboard 512 Mb Crucial DDR ram Saphire Radeon 9600 XT 128mb Windows XP, 800x600 with these settings: http://andeburu.studioink.org/tribes/files/TV_settings.jpg I get 30-ish fps on a busy server. Does that sound right for my system? Radeon 9800 Pro gets 30 here on ultra-high (w/ 2700+), a 9600 should be slightly over half of that I'd guess. Doesn't sound right to me. We have a secondary computer with a geforce 4 ti4200 and it's running the game on your settings.
