Sir Lucius 09-28-2004, 02:25 AM Make a designation called Clown Team. If a team is nothing but a bunch of sadistic idiots, they're still just trying to have fun in competition.
A Clown Team acts like any other team, but they can be denied challenge without forfeit. This means if a team accepts or challenges them, they know what they're getting into.
Clowns can only be created from the beginning, so normal teams can still violate the global chat rules.
This does not make a mockery of the ladder, instead it serves to involve the spirit of the community into the spirit of competition.

I can garantee KGB can beat 1/2 the n00b teams that decide to test the waters of a competitive ladder.
Unfortunately, they can't do this in a manner that presents a fun atmosphere for other teams. With racist aliases, constant swearing, racism and bigoted remarks in match comms and an attitude that is unsportsmanlike, there is no way I can allow them to participate in matches.
