I don't know if this matter has been addressed sometime in the past but..
What is it with the ability to BLOCK the flag with a vehicle or a inv? Why is this ability even in T:V. This is "Tribes" you shouldn't be able to block a flag.. with a vehicle.. they didn't allow it in t1 or t2 and they shouldn't allow it in T:V. It's just so annoying.
Take it out please.

The vehicles don't have shields anymore, so they only last for so long. Plus you can't buy em either.

By blocking, I'm assuming you mean by putting it ontop/in the flag?

by blocking I mean putting it on the flag.. like for instance in t2 where u couldn't put a vehicle on a "flag zone", there should also be a "flag zone" in T:V where u can't place any vehicles or deployables to block a flag from being grabbed.
The vehicles take at least 4 nades just to destroy, how can you possibly do that on a fast capping route?

I personally don't have a problem with the vehicle blocking strategy at all. They die very easily if kept in one spot. Inventories are a different story, but it's not like it takes much effort to destroy them.
Teamwork can prevail over this strategy far more easily than blocking in T2 because of the lack of shields, and the vehicle respawn time.

Hm I remember when you could put vehicles over flag in T2... I figured out how to get an MPB through the tiny front door in Sanctuary. Hilarity ensued.

As fast as this game is concerned with vehicles, blocking your own flag could and would cause your very own flag capper to be held up, thus allowing the other team to chase him/her down.
It is a non-issue.
Thanks.

Err... I mean... well done! A useless thread that was actually ended by the first well reasoned post! I think this may be a TW first!
(DAMN! I ruined it by posting this message! Ok, go back to normal TW-type activites.)

Lonzo I'm sorry but you'll have to rely on some teamwork instead of your mach2 cap runs. ;)
