News: Tribes MP Demo ETA

The Tribes Vengeance MP Demo, based on the retail version of the game, will be released tommorow at 10am PDT. You guys can get it on Tribalwar, and it will be available on other sites as well. The demo will include many bug fixes, gameplay changes, and whatever else Irrational has done since the 05 beta was released.

This also brings an end to the open beta phase, and that version of the game will be shutdown Wednesday.

Sounds like it's going to be the same size, so maybe.. It would be cool if they mixed it up a bit and released it with some new maps instead.

We get the same 4 maps but they are "tweaked".

Well, I guess it's better that way since I'll have a ton of homework tomorrow.

I hope the 3D sound is fixed.

Personaly, I like the fact that the demo will have the exact same maps. It will give us a perfect hands on experience of the changes they've done, sence we've played the maps already. With new maps, we wouldn't be able to tell as well. Not only that, but imagine all the fun we'll have when the game is released in a week and has an a$$load of new maps to play on. Oh man... I can't wait! I would rather wait a week and not be spoiled with new maps.
