VaporTrail 09-27-2004, 07:24 PM Seeing how there ARE only the three teams... I believe they took the two most difficult to see and placed them on this map. The Imperial blue WOULD stand out pretty well, however that would leave one side with a bit of an advantage. Undisciplined 09-27-2004, 08:25 PM Just in case you haven't already tried it, turning off Macro Textures improves visability on Cavern quite a bit. I agree that it would be even more skewed if one of them was Imperial, no doubt Imperial would stick out compared to the BE or Phoenix. Starwind 09-27-2004, 08:47 PM Or They Could Add A Damn Sensor? Terr 09-27-2004, 11:06 PM Seconded on the sensor solution. All-Star 09-28-2004, 04:17 AM turning off Macro Textures improves visability on Cavern quite a bit. What other effects does turning this off have? Anything negative? Sneaky 09-28-2004, 07:50 AM Sensor would be good, but it would have to be permanent. If one of the teams killed a sensor, they would have the advantage the whole rest of the map. Starwind 09-28-2004, 12:07 PM  sneaky Terr 09-28-2004, 12:29 PM I sort of miss the T1/T2 ability to put people onto the IFF network by merely looking at them hard enough. It added a sort of team gestalt. Even without sensors one person could notice the enemy, and without any intentional communication, others would too because the IFF indicator would appear on their screen. Fool 09-28-2004, 12:33 PM Sensor would be good, but it would have to be permanent. If one of the teams killed a sensor, they would have the advantage the whole rest of the map. Yes because it's impossible to repair a sensor. Hurricane Harold 09-28-2004, 12:36 PM What other effects does turning this off have? Anything negative? It makes the terrain look bland, very bland ParoxysM 09-28-2004, 04:10 PM brightskins... | ||
