really looks a million times better. looks grittier and feels cooler, i suggest everyone give it a try. (didn't notice any effect on fps either way)

are you regarding the colored smoke trails that were recently released? I think that's what you are talking about, in which case I have to agree. I installed the smoke trails onto the Single Player demo and noticed they looked really cool except for the phoenix's. it seems a little greenish to me or maybe its a dark yellow. besides that they are pretty cool and I didnt see an FPS drop but that was in the SP demo. I would suggest d/l it and testing it on your demo and then the beta to see if you like it.
