I hope to have a beta ready by Sunday. Got some more lighting to do first, here are some pics. Small map, with fairly large underground bases. The doors to the bases are movers. Moved away from the lava idea, but the water will still kill (ie: cannot make lava textures look nice :)) There will soon be light posts around the map for grappling as well.

As far as T2 maps go, the only ones I would really like to see are:
-Damnation
-Minotaur
-Titan
-BeggersRun
-Feign

Now that you can choose your spawning location, it would make them 2x better. :)


dunno if these have been "called" yet, but im currently working on feign, then i will try my hand at mino, possibly throw in beggars in there (though doubtful on this), and lastly start in on a new map idea i have.

how about a spiridian style map.... say........ the last battle inside the loading docks in matrix revolutions

or

imagine skiing along the top of the death star in like scene form when luke destroys the deathstar.

Makes me wonder. Is a true replication of ExtremeSki possible? Looks kinda like what he/you/whoever set out to do.

Well my Blood Egale base is compete with flag stand. Imp will take awhile seeing I am going for an old school RD base look.

Yeah I had to use a projector to get the moss effect on the stone around the flag. Just started learning the projectors the ither day. Kind of a pain in the ass but cool effect when you're done.

Thanks guys :) . PR24, those pics look great...nice ominous look. I am excited about all these cool maps coming out, everybody's stuff is looking real good.


Yeah, lava "works" well enough, there are ways to make it "skiable", but I don't see the map giving players the angles needed to do it much. There is some cool stuff that can be done with cubmaps, it looks okay now, but the fluid surface texturing is giving me fits :( (I am starting to think lava maps were not included for a reason...)

Wow! some really awesome maps! We really need to come together as a community and release some sort of community bonus pack. Im thinking of releasing a torrent or something and seeding it.
