I know I will get flamed for making this a new thread, but IrritAnt locked the thread and I felt the need to express how stupid this member was. Look what he wrote:


I don't know why this stupid shazbot was put on tourney mode or FFA, but make it so when you click to join a team.. by pressing f2.. and it opens the lil "spawn map", that it won't keep you from spawning.. I think it has something to do with the TEAMS HAVING TO BE EVEN. I click the spawn point "1" and it doesn't spawn me, it just sits in the spawn map..

I think that feature is just retarded and should be removed..

Irrit, definitely keep this feature of "clicking" the spawn points in. It will keep all the horrible n00bs from playing. This is just pathetic. So is my making this a new thread, but I had to say something.

i may be wrong, but it sounds like this is a problem with tourny mode. if so, its a very valid point. so shut up member ;)

regardless, restarting threads that got locked is a great way to get more of the same.

He clicked the graphic that says 1 on the GUI, he didn't hit the 1 button, but tried to click it. Thats why I'm ashamed.

Last time i checked you COULD click on the numbers to spawn there?

Now I can for some reason. Last time I tried I was not able to click to spawn. Maybe it was on a certain map. Let me check all the maps.

Worst AIM you can either press '1' or 'click' one. It is faster to press '1' though since there is graphic lag alot of the time, for some odd reason.

This is the reason I dont really post here anymore. Members are constantly flaming, so no good descussions occur without some chicken shazbot fight. I can honestly say this is the worst community I've come across.

What Halo community is this? Ever halo community I know is nothing but spam and flaming. From gearbox forums to cal forums it is all the same in Halo as well. It is just that this community has more than 200 people so it stands out more.

Well thats a more private community, that is expected. There is such a large amount of people here that there would have to be a moderator reading every new post that is made every 30 seconds. Flaming isnt somethign that ruins a community anyhow, its just an argument because epople have different opinions, thats all. If it offends you then you shoudlnt be reading forums.... I wouldnt call tribal war unclean because of it.

But it gets a little ridiculous when someone suggests a feature should be eliminated simply because it's not functioning properly.

I understand that people don't always fully understand the functionality of whatever it is they might be posting about (I'm guilty of this as well), however, it's real frustrating having such people tear the game down due in part because of their own ignorance. It makes it much easier to read and listen to what people have to say, when it's they're a bit more diplomatic.

Feedback is fine, whining gets old.

What would you call it then? There is no point to tribalwar community forums. I read through the threads and all I see are shazbot threads and ton of spam/flaming. A community does not need any of that. Just because a community has a ton of members doesnt mean its good quality by any means.

HaloHQ is privately owned yes, but it isnt some little site designed/runned by a n00b. Its only a year old, and has Threads: 5,367, Posts: 66,816, Members: 3,296 and counting. The community is great quality, with great Halo descussions without all the spam/flaming/jerks. Thats not what I see here. All I see here is threads that have somewhat of potential for descussions that get messed up with spam/flaming....someone doesnt like someone elses opinion and you get a ton of "OH YOU N00B!!!111 DONT EVER POST HERE AGAIN, IDIOT!!!!11" That is not a community in any sense. All that is is a online forums which are not controlled, filled with angsty little children who really arent mature enough to even be posting on a public forums.
