I was playing Tribes V the other day and i asked some guy to take off in a fighter..i grappled on to him..and to my joy..i was able to actual stay grappled on to him the whole time...this isnt really a bug..more of a visual glitch
What happened: The guy took off in his fighter and i jetted up and grappled on to the fighter. I was attached...but the wire was pointing upwards 6 feet away from the fighter...but it was supposedly 'attached' to it. I have a video..but i dont know where to put it or anything....so...can i upload it on server seed or what...?and where can i find my TV recordings?

Vehicle grapplin is something i'd like to see evolve into the game. Sorta like a ghetto transport...

you should be able to grapple to someone and swing off of each other.
THATs what i was looking forward too.
or be on the ground and grapple on someone stationary and reel yourself in.

you can play the demos in T:V by going to the recordings tab. If you want to make them into a movie you will need to use Fraps to convert to avi. They you can compress and get someone to host it for you.

A friend and I were capping that way.. Kinda cheap, but it worked. It was on Winterlake, and he was in a pod to the side of the flag. I came in, grabbed the flag, he went up in the air.. and I grappled to him. Off to our flag we went.
Once a flagger grapples onto a pod, not much you can do to catch him.

A friend and I were capping that way.. Kinda cheap, but it worked. It was on Winterlake, and he was in a pod to the side of the flag. I came in, grabbed the flag, he went up in the air.. and I grappled to him. Off to our flag we went.
Once a flagger grapples onto a pod, not much you can do to catch him.
You can ski way faster than a pod can fly :x

True, but you cant stay as high as a pod, or change directions as well. Flying across the lake works well. Plus, you can be even more ghey and swirl around making it virtually impossible for a LD to do anything to you. Then sling shot you way to the flag.

The "wire stretched all over the place" is a known bug.
I've noticed that using your "jets" on a vehicle is a sure-fire way to make the cable break for the airborne vehicles.
