well, i personally hope to support the WIKI and such, but as a mapper... i always felt more at home at t2maps than here... which frankly is a very flame-oriented, clique-driven mob :)

im happy TW is doing this. but monopoly? i dont think so... not if there isnt a mature community to back up the structure.

what would be nice is to see ALL the various modding sites tied together more effectively, rather than trying to make 1 size/site fit all.

not really. TW is known all throughout gaming as a very "special" place, and for good reason.

i do respect TT which is why ive lurked here for the past year (and im glad the spell of idiocy here a few months ago has mostly passed).

but overall, im sorry... this site and community feeds on drama, flaming, and sorta middle school politics. it's not even that people are immature... it's that the "vibe" here sorta supports the behavior (i might add that the moderators dont exactly challenge this vibe).

cool and talented people here, sure, but like i said... i always stuck with t2maps and such for mapping. ive seen dozens of dev forums and such, but no good ones were ever tied to a site with something akin to GD.

again, don't get me wrong. im pumped to see the TW dev area. imma try to support it in my own way.

I see your point... I posted on t2maps often for quite a while and I'm well aware of the benefits of a well moderated forum, especially when in a development field. TW wasn't always this way though, I think with the release of T:V things will get more productive around here. Maybe even some of the idiots that don't play tribes will be scared away. :D

I've just started entering some stuff into the Wiki. Currently it's only a list of the BaseObjectClasses - I'll add more detail in the coming weeks as I get the time.

EDIT: Just added lists for the EquipmentCLasses and GameClasses as well.

Where'd the wiki go? http://dev.tribalwar.com isn't responding right now. It's giving me a 302 to 404.php.
