Any one else have this problem?

settings on ultra at 1600 res max fps 85 min 20
settings on low 640 res max fps 85 min 20

No diference what so ever.

My max fps seems locked at 85 and my monitor refresh is set to 120.So that rules that out

my system spec are

3.0c p4
1 gb CMX512-4000PROX2
geforce 6800 oc gt
sb audigy "1"
asus p4c800 deluxe MB

nothing is overclocked the only time i see i difference in fps is on the menu screen at 640 res 700 fps on 1600 res around 150

My 3dmark scores are 1181

Any ideas?

FPS is capped online at 85. Plus your card will abuse anything the Unreal engine throws at it effectively making the bottleneck your CPU.

which 3dmark version are you using? 03 or 04? I'm assuming you are using 04. If you are, your mark is pretty low. I have a P4 3.0, same mobo you have, SB audigy ZS platinum pro, 1 gig of RAM and a Asus 800XT PE and get a mark of 4785.

Your FPS seem to be about right though. I may be wrong but I believe the better cards (800XT/6800 ultra) run better at higher res since they take over a lot of the processing from the PC. If someone knows otherwise, please correct me.

i am using 3d mark 04 .yeh i missed typed my score it 11181

also a min of 20 fps on any res "even 640" is way low

and also a the better cards?.....Hell the ulta only beat the gt by a few frames per second...It isnt like ultra gets 150 fps and a gt gets 85.

And remember i did say even at 640 on low setting i still drop to 15 to 20 fps

that is an 03 score. No one has even broken 8000 yet with 04.

when I said better cards, I wasn't saying exclusively the XT and ultra. Any of the cards in the 800 and 6800 family apply to my post.
