In case you haven't noticed, there's a big ass map in the top-right corner of your screen that already shows everything even remotely close to you. Zoom out, and you already know where any player tha matters to you is located.

Track down the ip address of Helios with above method, and then well, I'm sure some of us have some ideas as to what could be done with someone's ip address. For example, you could create software and try and sell it to him explaining that he's broadcasting an ip address, and that in itself is pretty big no-no. The punishment should be swift and harsh.

It's too bad when you think about it. Any person capable of blocking Helios's efforts would be GUARANTEED a big job somewhere, as his exploits in the gaming world are infamous - being that he is able to wreak havok to games at will, and no one can stop him.

If I were a high paying security firm, I would be looking for the guy who stopped Helios, and he would become a six figure guy overnight.

Tajora and anyone related to him in any way is lame and boring.

HelioS’s hooks work on the Unreal Engine and port easily to any game based off said engine.
They are just hooks and if Irrational Games would get off their asses and do something about cheats it’s easily fixed.

I’m only hoping they have been bluffing for the past X years about not putting any cheat protection into the game (except MAYBE PunkBuster) and are actually secretly working around the clock to produce some new never- before seen anti-cheat, but I fear my hopes are entirely too high.

With that being the case, get ready for a game full of more cheats than Counter Strike.

Don’t count on me making anything at all. Aside from the fact that I only ping well to one server (in Japan) which is always full anyway and won’t be playing the game when it is released, it’s just a waste of time.

HelioS and [ELF]osGb` seem like dicks to me, but to be fair, Irrational Games needs to start caring about its game.

I hope you do stay involved Rodent because a bot is going to be inevitable, and we will need skilled programmers to keep it use to a minimum. To me this is tragic, I have been complaining to VU games, Irrational and Sierra to work something out to stop cheating before it starts, and you can see where that got us. Hopefully something can be done about this AND T:V's developers will start taking these issues seriously and start putting quality games out that have some serious Anti-Cheat strategies in place.

#2 let them cheat, maybe then they can compete with me.

#3 modifying the game is a breach of the EULA (maybe you should try reading it) and it is well within their legal right to string you up by the balls and SUE you for millions and possible jail time.
