I hooked up to the company network and it worked there. I'm going to talk to Bellsouth and see what they say. xgalaxy 09-07-2004, 07:01 AM You need to have specific ports open to play. I forget what those port ranges are :| davidor 09-07-2004, 07:38 AM Are these the ports http://ucguides.savagehelp.com/TribesVengeance/FAQ_Firewall.htm The following UDP ports need to be opened: 6500 7777 7778 27900 The following TCP ports need to be opened: 7777 7778 28910 Just checking ptmfr 09-07-2004, 08:24 AM Are these the ports http://ucguides.savagehelp.com/TribesVengeance/FAQ_Firewall.htm The following UDP ports need to be opened: 6500 7777 7778 27900 The following TCP ports need to be opened: 7777 7778 28910 Just checking Yes, I believe those are the correct ports that need to be opened. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already, but have you tried reinstalling T:V? davidor 09-07-2004, 08:29 AM Yes. Even tried it by deleting the directory after uninstalling. Still did not do it. I just don't understand it. I was able to play for a few hours. Then boom. Firerizer 09-07-2004, 08:36 AM I got this same problem when I made changes to the game files. [user.ini, EXE] returned the files to the originals and removed the "-console" from the short cut. Not sure which particular change caused the problem since I replaced all at the same time. kaji 09-07-2004, 05:58 PM OK this might help a little bit. I, also, suffer from the game freezing for 10 seconds or so when I go to the Join screen as well as my internet connection dying. HOWEVER, I can join up fine if I go through Gamespy Arcade. The only problem with that, is that I don't get to play with a profile other than "player." Any feedback would be helpful. No I have no router/firewall. There is no ISP side blocking of ports, I have already contacted them in the past for that, and they said they do not firewall anything. So I guess the question is, what is the difference between entering through the join screen and entering through gamespy. =/ pls help. kaji 09-08-2004, 01:14 AM bump kaji 09-08-2004, 09:02 AM stillll waiting | ||
