the first ones i made were the rainbow ones, and i made them because i was rather anti t:v ;) ...... but then i played the beta and like it alot :o so i made some other ones =p
in my head, i always consider it tribes 3 rather than tribes v, so i kept them

you cant make a good icon at its final scale. instead try designing it at about 500px large , then resize it down to the size you need. finally apply a Sharpening filter to remove the blur.
when thats done, you can limit the palette to 256colors. but again, work backwards. thats how nice icons get detailed while being pixelated.

GreyHound 09-06-2004, 07:55 PM i made myself 3 icons. I for t1 II for t2 and III for T3 in the style of tvicon1.ico and itīs all i need =) a button that differs from the prince of persia button and has something in common with the other tribes games
btw: i used IconForge
heres an icon i made for my object dock, if anyone wants to use it. I couldnt find this logo anywhere so i had to make it from scratch.
