I turned on my computer, and logged on. As soon as I did, the T:V help folder popped up, the T:V uninstall wizard popped up, and tried to auto run itself, the T:V game came up, I got linked to www.vugames.com and www.tribesvengeance.com/us/ Someone wanna tell me whats going on? I just turned my computer on and hadn't clicked anything...

Third time its happened now. Someone please tell me whats is going on. Devs please comment on this because if you guys don't know about it, this is very important. Theres no reason T:V should be auto running itself at startup.

Check your startup folder?

It tries to auto uninstall itself, pops up the game, the help folder, and both the T:V and VUG website. This is a pretty big bug. There also shouldn't be any T:V stuff in your registry that allows it to auto run itself at startup.

Worstaim, the things you listed are from the T:V folder in the start menu. it sounds like you or someone else moved the contents to the startup folder. Anyhow, it is definately not a bug in T:V

Yeah, that definitely sounds like the entire Tribes folder in your Start menu has been moved into the Start folder. Check that this isn't the case and I'll log it as a bug.

In Start > Programs > Startup, all I had was winzip, so I went to Start > run > msconfig and heres what it said in my start tab:

I don't think theres any T:V related stuff in there, and theres no T:V stuff in my programs tab from the start button. I installed to C:\Andrew\Dynamix\T_V because all my Tribes stuff is in Dynamix. I didn't let it make any shortcuts on install, and when it asked for a program group to add a shortcut to, I left the line blank. It wouldn't let me proceed, so I chose accessories, but its not in there either. The only place on my computer that there is T:V stuff is in C:\Andrew\Dynamix\T_V. Thanks for replying though. Hope the info helps.
