[BUG] i cant move when i join a game

my mouse and keyboard dont work after i spawn in game. i can do some things like exterior view and fire my weapon(but i cant stop it from firing). i cant esc i have to alt - tab and close the game. iv tried deleting some ini files and reinstalling. to no avail. i started getting all these problems when i checked 3d sound and un checked default sound driver.

amd64 3000
nvidia 5700 fx
soundblaster audigy 2
1 gig dual channel ddr400 ram
winxp sp1 (getting new hd for winxp 64)

i wanna play :/

i tried both usb kb and a ps2 kb same thing

latest forceware drivers
+ bump

i downloaded it last night started playing then when i woke up today and got on i had the same problem as you.. ive reinstalled 3+ times and now im havin a friend send me it :( id really like to know how to fix this aswell.

Most likely it's an issue with joining the server. incomplete data from the server to your client. Try two things: 1, respawn and see if you can move. Try observing, changing teams, etc... If that doesn't work once (and you only need to try this once if it doesn't work) hang around for the map switch and see if that fixes it.

ive respawned spectated died etc nothings fixed it.. ill go try map switch tho.. its done it on every server ive joined even if i host one. :(
