[Feedback] Capping/Chasing stuff...

I just have a few suggestions I want to make based on my observations while playing LD...

Capping is much too easy because it's much too hard to chase in T:V. All the capper needs to do is take the flag and stay in the air. As long as the capper stays in the air they're pretty much safe because there's no good anti-air weapon and it's hard to catch up to them due to the new Epack boost. They need to fix the Chaingun and Laser Rifle so they are more viable chasing weapons.

Decrease the spread of the chaingun
Reduce or get rid of the trigger lag with the Laser Rifle

Just think back to Tribes 1/2, the only weapons LD could use effectively to stop a capper while in the air were the Chaingun and the Laser Rifle. With both of these being nerfed the capper doesn't have to worry about flying high in the air like they did in Tribes 1/2, in fact they want to fly high in the air because they're safer up there. A good capper should be one that can get massive speed not someone who can pick up a flag and use the Epack to fly back their base while never touching the ground. The same goes for Cavern, a capper with a grappler are too hard to kill due to no good anti-air weapons.

I've played LD in scrims. Chasing is not hard unless the capper gets a clean grab which was the case in T1 and T2. If he get's hit it's not hard to get him with disc or grenade. Or chain or rockets. It's fine.

from the pub chasing i've done its not too hard to use nades to hit cappers because of how fast and far they get thrown.

Yes I have no problems with the nades, they are great, one of the few weapons good for chasing. But they're only good if the capper allows you to catch up to them and they aren't in the air (which in the case of Emerald/Cavern a good capper may not even touch the ground except to cap).

emerld is to small to chase on, winterlake and isle are the only realistic maps when it comes to competition maps
