Skiing Practice Challenge

Try skiing at a very fast pace on Emerald following the road that goes around the map. I found while doing this I was forced to have to use KP's method of holding either right or left while in air, while not jetting "all the time". If you aren't doing it properly, you won't be able to turn the corners at the higher speeds. You will be forced to hold in one direction the entire turn and jet here and there to keep your speed up.

This little excercize has helped me understand the new new skiing method and has forced me to understand how much you can turn yourself while in mid air without jetting.

Trust me... I am doing it. You have to get the concept through your head that you DO NOT NEED TO THRUST to move yourself laterally.

It take a lot of getting use to, but this little run helped me understand what's going on.

Try it in third person too so you can get a grip on how your player model is leaning.
