[SUGGESTION] Grapple line breakage sound

Yeah add a sound, but correct the refire thing somehow else.

hopefully the sound of the line breaking would help avoid this problem. Because it might become frustrating once you do want to fire again if you're forced to wait for the delay.

having a delay on the grappler would make it worthless to carry imho. I mean, I can understand wanting to have a delay to 'balance' it out, but since it takes up a weapon slot, i could think of better weapons to carry if there were a delay in firing (especially on maps like cavern)

I think I re-fire delay on the order of a few milliseconds would be useful. If would prevent you from trying to disconnect when you are already disconnected.

What about shooting grappleing points disconnects grapple? I'd like to see that. Not only could you disconnect your self with out switch weapons, it could help at trying to stop the cappers maybe. Espcially if you could cause a disconnect with cg or something.

What i meant by the delay, I should of been more specific.

Even with a disconnect sound, you could still re fire by accident right as it disconnects. Adding a very short refire delay could help (maybe).

I was about to make a new post and suggest this, good thing that I searched around for it!

I agree there needs to be a breaking sound, often I find myself trying to disengage the grapple only to find out that it has broken and I shoot another grapple by accident

they sound have the rover engine noise when it breaks beause thats just such a good sound and we dont have a rover on cavern

also we need a rover on cavern cause its the best vehicle.

Yes, I love grappling myself to the ground on accident while trying to lose chasers. It's like I landed on their flypaper trap.

whatever you do, the only sound worse in game then the disc fire sound is the disc explosion sound. PLEASE fix those. PLEASE.

on the other hand, all chain related sounds are pretty cool

oh please, like u need more than 2 weapons as a capper

a refiring delay might make you *GASP* have to ski on cavern, we cant have that

its easy to tell if ur line has been broken, uve either swung to far around or its gotten caught on something. ive gotten used to where it breaks in 2 days.

its actually best when it misfires and you dont grapple at all, and you go, wow, i disconnected, but it keeps you on insead.
