[feedback] grappler is too weak

You guys must have scaled back the grappler a lot during the closed betta, but you took it too far. the shot length, and the strength of the cord need to be increased.or you need to get rid of ammo.

The line strength was increased, I think it is fine the way it is. I don't want heavies being able to grapple like lights, and I rarely have the line break in the open beta build.

mine doesn't break unless it passes through another object.

I would perfer it to bend around the object realisticly, but that may not be posible with the time constraints.

I think the "break point" for each armour is right, i just thought the feel of it on 04 was much better. Was it more elastic or something? I dunno, but it felt better anyways. :)

see, they didnt have time to gloss 05 because people were complaining about the release. now we are reaping our rewards with a possible unfinished release.

I find it much easier to use the grappler using 120 FOV for some reason.

Grappler can be used to 'turtle' to great affect in a flag stand-off, in fact to the point that it's almost impossible to kill the capper unless he makes a mistake. Not seen many people doing it yet but I know of at least one Euro player who is nigh on untouchable once he has the flag and his grappler.

Some person was grappled to the flag tower just doing circles with the flag. He was pretty much impossible to hit as he's right next to his base with other people defending him, not to mention the turret he was circling.
