Gametype: Ball?

I have never seen the new gametype 'Ball' mentioned before, what do you guys think of this gametype for Tribes Vengeance?

and do you think it will be chosen a lot?

Its the least popular UT2k4 mod, It'll be the least popular T:V mod...
I played it with a few people, Not too fond of the physics of the ball. It drops to sharp even with a full power.

Thats just my opinion of its current state... The whistle makes me laugh.

I loved playing TR2, I was hoping for something along those lines for T3.. Unfortunately I agree, the ball feels weird :closet: and the physics of it when it hits the deck is way too spastic

I had a blast playing it 8 v 8 the other day. It does take some time to get used to the ball physics. But soon we were grappling the ball out of mid air or snatching it a second before it hit the goal, passing it back and forth... it was fun, but I don't think it will be all that popular but will have it's fans.
